7 Random Things.............

So I was tagged by Chelsea to post 7 random things about myself..........

1. I'm terrified of midgets. I have no idea why, they just freak me out. I do everything in my power to avoid them when I'm in public. I know it sounds mean.......I really can't help it. I start having panic attacks if I see one. I know, I need therapy!!

2. I have OCD........bad. I have to have all my towels folded the exact same way. If Brannon folds them I have to go back and redo it. My pantry is organized by food type and size, my closet it organized by season and color and I expect it to stay that way. I would rather Brannon not help me put away laundry or food so that it stays organized the way I like it. I even organize McKenna's toys. Her dollhouse is the worst. She has this Loving Family dollhouse that has a million pieces and I have to set each room up like it's supposed to be. It's sad really because now she does the same thing!!!

3. I hate chicken on the bone. I can eat any other meat on the bone except for chicken.......all the little tendon thingy's and bloody things.........ugh. It's disgusting.

4. I can't stand feet. I love my husband dearly but his are probably by far the worst and he insists on touching my legs with them in the bed and it seriously grosses me out. The only feet I'll go near are McKenna's.

5. I'm obsessed with tv shows that are for younger audiences. I never miss an episode of The Hills or One Tree Hill. I will seriously be upset if this is the last season of either show!!!

6. I love to sing in the car..........not just like normal people do. I like to sing like I'm actually the person singing the song. I know I don't sing well but in my car I'm the greatest singer ever!!!

7. I watch Disney channel more than McKenna does. I find myself watching Hannah Montana, Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Wizards of Waverly Place even when she's not there.

So there are 7 random and somehwhat embarassing things about me!!!

East Paulding Homecoming

Saturday was homecoming at the park. We had a ceremony and all my girls were crowned "Miss Raiderette". Normally we're supposed to have all the girls on the squad vote for who they think should be Miss Raiderette but it was impossible with 3,4, and 5 yr olds. So we decided to crown them all!!

Libby Lu and HSM 3

So Friday night was the premier of High School Musical 3. My daughter and her best friend Tatum are obsessed with those movies so we of course had to go on opening night! My friend Danielle and I decided to take the girls to Libby Lu for "Sharpay" makeovers before the movie. They had a blast!! I so wish they would have stuff like this when I was a little girl. The movie was okay....I personally liked the second one better. I honestly don't think I've ever been to a movie that was full of screaming girls..........it was insane. They screamed every time Zac Efron came on the screen. McKenna didn't know what to think.........she kept asking why they were screaming. Then at the end of the movie she said "are they screaming because Zac is so hot?". I guess it doesn't take long for her to catch on.

McKenna's Cheerleading Competitions

So we just had our 2nd cheerleading competition today. The girls didn't do as good as they did last week but we did place 2nd. Last weekend we were at Hillgrove and placed 1st. We added a tumbling sequence this past week and the girls just went blank today during the routine and forgot where to go. They were bummed they didn't get 1st today but we're hoping it will make them put more effort into practices. Our last competition is in 3 weeks at Sprayberry so we have time to perfect our routine. McKenna is loving competitive cheerleading. She loves having all the people cheering for them, she says it makes her feel like Hannah Montana. It was so funny today on the way home from competition...........we were driving down the road and this car honked at us for no reason. She said, "wait mom.....I think they were trying to get my autograph". Here's one picture from competition last weekend. I wanted more but Brannon was in charge of the camera and he's obviously not good at taking pictures!!!

Our First Post

I've been trying to start this thing forever and just haven't had the time. I guess I should start with a little intro about us. Brannon and I have been married for 2 1/2 years and have a wonderful daughter named McKenna. Brannon is currently working as a superintendent and I'm doing medical billing. McKenna is in her first year at "big school". It's been quite an adjustment for all of us. She's doing well and she loves her teachers. She's also in her first year of cheerleading. I decided to volunteer as her coach and I'm really enjoying it. It does take up a lot of our time but it's worth it. Here's some pics of the season so far..........
