A Baby Changes Everything...........

I just heard this amazing song on CMT and I had to share it. I stopped what I was doing and had to listen to it.......I had to stop running around preparing for Christmas and stop and remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Our Disney Trip

McKenna got an early Christmas present from Santa this year...........she got a trip to Disney World. We went with my cousin Nicole and her family. We had so much fun!! The Christmas decorations were amazing!! We were able to visit all 4 parks and McKenna rode every ride. She's my little dare devil and roller coasters are her favorite. We rode Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom........it's a pretty intense roller coaster for a 6 yr old but she loved it. She kept wanting to do it again! This was our second time visiting Disney and it was nice to go at Christmas but the crowds are way better in February!!

I'm a member of a website called www.gymborebel.com. If you have kids and love to talk about them then this is the site for you!! There are a lot of Gymboree addicts like myself and anytime a new line comes out we take pictures of our kids in the clothes to exchange outfit ideas and sizing info. Well tonight I got McKenna to do her "fashion show" as she calls it and this is what I got..........keep in mind all I said was smile pretty. My child definitely has a future in acting!!

I can sew!!!!

So I've been dabbling a little here and there with my sewing machine and finally.......I get it!! I have been dying to make McKenna some of the outfits I've seen on etsy.com but have just been buying them instead. I bought a pattern and material months ago to make her a top to wear to Disney. We're leaving next Wednesday so I decided to give it a shot. I am so amazed at how well it turned out. I had to share the pictures!!

Thanksgiving

This year was the first Thanksgiving that I spent without my family. My parents decided to go to Florida to be with my sister and Brannon's family went to their cabin. Unfortunately Brannon and I both had to work Friday so we were unable to go. We decided to do Thanksgiving at our house and invite some friends. It was my first time cooking an entire meal like that but I have to say I did pretty good.....thanks to the help of McKenna and Paul Deen. I hate that we were unable to spend the day with family but at least we were able to spend it with great friends!! Here's some pics I took of McKenna before everyone came over. I just got a new camera a month or so ago and I'm obsessed with taking pictures with it!! Sorry so many!!

Lighting of Atlantic Station

We decided to go down to Atlantic Station for the lighting of the tree on Saturday. We had such a great time. We shopped around, ate at Fox Sports Grill and took a carriage ride. McKenna really enjoyed the tree lighting and the "snow".

McKenna's Thanksgiving Play

McKenna's class did their Thanksgiving play yesterday at school. It was so cute!!! McKenna was an Indian. She really enjoyed doing the play and the kids all did such a great job!!

McKenna's Last Competition

McKenna had her last competition a couple of weeks ago at Sprayberry High School. We ended up placing 3rd. The girls were bummed but they did their best!! I've been saying I can't wait until cheerleading is over but I'm honestly going to miss my girls!!!

McKenna's Party

We had a small party at my parents house for McKenna this year. Our theme this year was Camp Rock.......yet another thing she's obsessed with!! I was so glad to see Shanna and her little girl Tiffani there. I love that after all these years we're still a part of each others lives.....even if she does live on the other side of the world!! McKenna got everything she wanted for her birthday and then some!!! She had a great time with all of her family and friends. Thanks to everyone who came!!!
This was a special gift from her daddy.......there's a song my Tim McGraw called "My Little Girl" and it's Brannon's song to McKenna. When we found out he was also coming out with the book we had to run out and buy it.
