Snow 2010

Snow in Georgia!!! I really didn't think we were going to get as much as we did. McKenna was so excited. We went over to the Bassett's on Friday and let the kids play. They had an absolute blast!! The next morning Brannon and McKenna went out to play in the snow some more. She kept saying she needed a sled and she couldn't understand why we didn't have one. I told her that it's rare that we see snow like this and a sled just isn't on our "have to have" list. She found a plastic container in the garage and decided to use it as her sled. We don't really have any big hills in our yard so her and Brannon decided it would be a great idea to use her sled on her swingset slide. Luckily there were no injuries!!

Poor thing, she couldn't keep her balance on this hill!!

Ruger wasn't so sure about the snow

Ruger trying to catch snowballs
Brannon kept throwing him snowballs and when they'd hit the ground he would go nuts trying to find them. It was so funny!!

New Years 2010

We had the Bassett's and a few of Brannon's friends over this year to ring in the New Year. We got a new fire pit for Christmas and that's pretty much where we spent most of our night. The kids made smores and then the guys did fireworks for them.

Cody enjoying his smores. I think he ended up eating 8 of them.

Last stop of the day....Meme & Pop's

We ended Christmas day at my parents house with my sister and her family. We mainly just opened presents and relaxed from our busy day. My parents spoiled McKenna and Wyatt rotten. They were exhausted from opening all their presents!!

Love this picture of them!

Christmas Lunch at Nanny & Papa Brock's

We had a bit of a scare right before Christmas with my Papa. He had a stroke a few weeks before Christmas and at first they were saying he wouldn't be able to come home from the hospital for Christmas. Thankfully they let him come home on Christmas Eve. We were so relieved!! He has to walk with either a walker or a cane for now but he's doing so much better!! I love going to my grandparents on Christmas Day. My grandparents have 8 grandkids and 9 great grandchildren so you can imagine how crowded it can get. McKenna loves getting to spend time with her 4 cousins at this gathering. They're all a year apart and they play so well together.

Christmas Breakfast at Nanny & Papa Lovinggood's

Every Christmas morning we go to Brannon's grandparents for breakfast and presents. I look forward to this every year!! His grandmother cooks this huge breakfast and it's absolutely delicious!! After we eat we let the kids open presents. It's total chaos........there's wrapping paper flying all over the place and the kids are screaming left and right. It's so fun to watch!!

Loving her new pink camera!
